About me

Where to start? I’ve been all over the place attempting to do all the cool things.

I studied Physical geography at Aberystwyth University, followed by a master’s degree in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems, then worked in the environmental consultancy world for a little bit.

Following this I did a short stint in the Philippines on a disaster risk reduction project and then as a team leader on a sexual reproductive health program in Uganda.

In between this I squeezed in a secondary education PGCE and have since worked in the education sector as a teacher and managing some cool summer programs.

Currently teaching in Jakarta, I’m having a fun year squeezing all the adventures out of Indonesia that I can! This is kind of a brain dump/ record for memories/ advice for anyone wanting to do similar things/ entertainment for anyone wanting to know more about the (occasionally ridiculous) things I’ve been up to.
